2. Processing of personal data and purposes of processing

According to Art. 4 No. 1 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

a. When downloading the app

The app is available via the Google Play Store on Android devices and via the App Store on iOS devices. The download therefore requires prior registration with the respective app store. SWISSINNO has no influence on the processing of your data in connection with your registration and use of these app stores. In this respect, the operator of the respective app store is solely responsible. If necessary, please contact the respective app store operator directly. SWISSINNO does not collect any data from you in connection with the download of the app.

b. When using the app

SWISSINNO does not process any personal data from you in connection with the use of the app. 
When you open the app, it connects to an external hardware box via Bluetooth on your mobile phone. The hardware box then sends you the catch results of the rodent traps purchased via SWISSINNO. This information is only stored locally in the app and is not transmitted to SWISSINNO. SWISSINNO does not have access to the information transmitted to you by the hardware box at any time.

3. Data subjects' rights

As a person affected by the processing of your personal data, you have the right to revoke consent granted by the controller at any time with effect for the future in accordance with Art. 7 (3) of the GDPR, to request information about your personal data processed by the controller in accordance with Art. 15 DSGVO, in particular about the purposes of processing, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data have been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right of complaint, the origin of your data, insofar as this has not been collected by the controller, as well as about the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, and, if applicable, meaningful information about its use. In accordance with Article 16 of the GDPR, you may without undue delay request the rectification of inaccurate or incomplete personal data stored by the controller, request the erasure of your personal data stored by the controller in accordance with Article 17 of the GDPR, unless the processing is necessary for the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data pursuant to Art. 18 DSGVO if the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, the processing is unlawful but you object to its erasure and the controller no longer requires the data, but you need it to assert, exercise or defend legal claims, or you object to the processing of your personal data pursuant to Art. 21 DSGVO. 21 DSGVO, to receive your personal data that you have provided in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request the transfer to another controller pursuant to Art. 20 DSGVO. You have the right to object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation to the processing of your personal data carried out on the basis of Article 6(1)(e) of the GDPR (processing in the public interest) and Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (processing on the basis of a balance of interests) (this also applies to profiling based on this provision of Article 4(4) of the GDPR) and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority pursuant to Article 77 of the GDPR.
