| How does the NATURAL CONTROL food moth trap works? | |||
| The inside of the NATURAL CONTROL food moth trap is coated with a powerful glue and contains a sexually alluring pheromone that attracts male moths into the trap where they are caught by the adhesive, and die. This severely curtails the breeding opportunities of the moths, which then reduces the moth population. Even when moths are not obviously present, a trap will often catch a few moths, so giving an early warning of a new infestation by moths such as the Mediterranean flour moth, the Indian meal moth, the tobacco moth, and others. |

| How long does the bait last? | |||
| Once unpacked it will continue to attract moths for 8 weeks. |

| What to do if there is an unfestation? | |||
| In case od an infestation, check all food and the surrounding area (e.g. cupboard) for frubs and moths, dispose of the affected food and clean the cupboards thoroughly. Dispose of the infected food and airtight containers. Not sufficiently airtight: Containers with losse lids, biscuit tins, any sort of plastic bag, boxes, glasses with cork stoppers. Suitable: Jam jars and other glass containers with screw top lids, good plastic containers with airtight lids. |

| What damage can moths do? | |||
| Food moths cause infestation in stored foodstuffs. The moths themselves do no damage and do not eat during their short liefspan of 1-2 weeks. The damage caused by the larvae (grubs) includes: - loss of quantity and quality in affected foodstuffs - consequent infestation of food with mould and mites - contamination of food and processing machinery with excrement, cocoons, cast skin and larvae - short circuits & malfunctions in electrical equipment In homes the infestation often affects not just food can also occur in dreid flower arrangements where the grubs feed on plant seeds. Unless these are cleard the moths wille emerge from hidden locations and infest the food again. |

| What types of food are affected by moth infestation? | |||
| The grubs eat foodstuffs of plant origin, espacially nuts, dried fruits, almonds, peanuts and sometimes grain products such as animal feed, muesli, chocolate and dried flowers arrangements. |
