The practical solution!
The inside of the NATURAL CONTROL food moth trap is coated with a powerful glue and contains a sexually alluring pheromone that attracts male moths into the trap where they are caught by the adhesive, and die. This severely curtails the breeding opportunities of the moths, which then reduces the moth population. Even when moths are not obviously present, a trap will often catch a few moths, so giving an early warning of a new infestation by moths such as the Mediterranean flour moth, the Indian meal moth, the tobacco moth, and others.
Simple instructions
The trap is ready for use as soon as it has been unpacked: it is a complete plastic-moulded unit; no assembly is required.
A self-adhesive fixing pad allows it to be stuck to a vertical surface, or to the underside of a shelf, and as it is flat and compact it occupies very little space in a kitchen cupboard, larder, or pantry.
Care and disposal
- Important: When an infestation is discovered, check all foods and storage areas in the vicinity of the infestation (e.g. inside cupboards, larder shelves) for larvae and pupae; discard any contaminated food; clean cupboards and shelves thoroughly. Note that it is recommended that all vulnerable foods are stored in airtight containers.
- Discard used traps in with your normal disposable waste.
- Store unused traps in a cool, dry, dark place. Keep traps away from children.
