The NATURAL CONTROL fly trap is suitable for yard, deck, patio, porch, , garbage, and recycle areas. Our trap is based on a multiple fly attractant for most successful trapping. The flies are drowned without the use of any poisons.
Our trap will catch a broad range of fly species including houseflies, blowflies, and deer flies. Houseflies (black, non-glossy body) and blowflies (metallic blue/green/gold body) are the most common types found around homes.
Simple instructions
- Open Natural Control bait packet and pour into trap.
- Add 1/2 cup warm water to the fill line and swirl to mix. The bait generates active attractants within 2-3 days for most common flies. Optional: Place a small piece of raw meat in the center of the tube for immediate attraction.
- Place trap in secure location at ground level or hang it from a tree with twist wire provided in a calm sunny location about 5-10m from the area you wish to protect.
As trap fills, add water to keep flies submerged. Wash and replace bait when the trap is full or at least every 3 weeks. Flies are dormant until temperatures reach 18C (64F). For better protection, place multiple traps around perimeter of house, 3-10m from building.
